The wireless industry dreams of deploying its new 5G (fifth generation) infrastructure in your neighbourhood soon, as it has begun doing in California. Boxes the size of a PC could be placed every 150 meters or so on utility poles, sometimes with small-refrigerator-sized boxes on the ground. 5G technology uses pulsed, millimeter-sized microwaves that are easily blocked by obstacles such as leaves, hence the need to install millions of cell signal boosters near homes.

BioInitiative 2012 Report: new urgent warnings on wireless and EMF public health risks
A new updated BioInitiative 2012 Report says that evidence for risks to health has substantially increased since 2007 from electromagnetic fields (EMF) and wireless technologies/radiofrequency radiation (RFR). The report reviews over 1800 new scientific studies and includes 29 independent science and medical experts from around the world. Cell phone users, parents-to-be, young children and pregnant women are at particular risk.

Phonegate: French Government Data Indicates Cell Phones Expose Consumers To Radiation Levels Higher Than Manufacturers Claim
(Washington, DC) After a court filing, the National Frequency Agency (ANFR) of France has just disclosed that most cell phones exceed government radiation limits when tested the way they are used, next to the body. Manufacturers are not required to test phones in shirt or pants pockets. French government tests on hundreds of cell phones reveal that in 2015, 9 out of 10 phones exceed the manufacturer’s reported radiation test levels when re-tested in positions where the phone is in contact with the body. The government had refused to disclose these test results until pressure after the court action.

On June 1, 2017, ANFR posted the details of the make, model and test results for each phone that was tested, after months of legal action by French physician Dr. Marc Arazi. Arazi’s request for the information was initially denied. Popular brands such as Apple, Motorola, Samsung and Nokia were among the cell phone models tested. When tested in contact with the body, some phones have test results as high as triple the manufacturer’s previously reported radiation levels.

WiFi = Stress on the Immune System
Research shows that WiFi leads to stress on the body. Scientists have found that the body reacts to wireless exposure by showing signs of increased oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress can increase our risk of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease, gene mutations and cancers, heart disorders, and inflammatory diseases.
Research has also shown autoimmune responses, blood serum changes, alterations of immune cells, impaired immune function and the presence of biological markers for inflammation after wireless exposure.

The Australian Radiation Protection Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) is the government agency which sets the standard limits for human exposure to radiation. ARPANSA’s fact sheet 14 “How to reduce exposure from mobile phones and other wireless devices” (Updated June 2013) states “the technology is very new and it’s impossible to be completely sure there isn’t some risk. This is particularly true for children where there is little research evidence.”
APANSA’s recent fact sheet (March 2015) continues to state that “it’s impossible to be completely sure there isn’t some risk. This is particularly true for children where there is little research evidence”. This fact sheet provides practical advice on “things one can do to substantially reduce exposure”.
